JENNA PAULETTE T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST RULES
(the “Official Rules”)
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL, AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
The Coolest Girl in the World T-Shirt Design Contest (the “Contest”) is a competition where entrants design the graphics for the artist, Jenna Paulette, to use as a T-shirt design (the “T-Shirt Design(s)”). Each entrant submitting a T-Shirt Design must provide his or her name, address, phone number and e-mail (the “Contestant”). The winning T-Shirt Design will be printed on Jenna’s T-shirts and other merchandise, and will be sold at her concerts and in her online store. The design must contain the phrase, “Coolest Girl in the World.”
The Contest is open to any legal resident of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who is at least fourteen (14) years old at the time of entry and is a current student or alumna of the “Step Up” Women’s Network (www.suwn.org) (“SUWN”). Employees of SUWN and other companies associated with the promotion of the Contest, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates and advertising and promotion agencies as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. The Contest is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
The Contest is sponsored by the SUWN (the “Sponsor”), located at 510 South Hewitt Street #111, Los Angeles, California 90013, and is organized and administered by Grit Brand Entertainment LLC (the “Organizer”), located at PO Box 70159, Nashville, TN 37207.
Agreement to Official Rules:
Participation in the Contest constitutes Contestant’s full and unconditional agreement to, understanding and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Organizer, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.
The period of time in which contestants are eligible to submit T-Shirt Designs begins January 22, 2018 at 12:00 noon CST and ends on February 28, 2018 at 12:00 midnight CST (the "Contest Period"). Entries submitted before or after the Contest Period will be disqualified.
Submission of Design:
Each Contestant may submit one (1) T-Shirt Design (“Submission”). Contestants may submit the T-Shirt Design in physical or digital format using any of the following methods:

Limit one (1) entry per Contestant for the duration of the Contest Period, regardless of the method of entry. Entries received from any person, e-mail address, or physical address in excess of the stated limitation will be void. All entries become the property of Jenna Paulette, Sponsor and/or the Organizer and will not be acknowledged or returned.
One winner of the Contest will be chosen by three (3) judges, consisting of one (1) judge selected from the each of the Organizer and Sponsor each having one vote, and Jenna Paulette, with Jenna’s vote counting as two (2) votes (the “Judges”). On or about March 15, 2018, the Judges will select a winner from among all eligible entries received (the “Decision Date”).
The winner will be notified by email, mail or phone. The Winner will be required to complete, electronically sign and submit a Declaration of Compliance (the “Required Documentation”) within five (5) days of the date the notice or attempted notice is given to claim his/her prize. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, or fails to submit the Required Documentation within the requested time period, or the Prize is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits the Prize. If the winner is at least 18 but still considered a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian, who will be required to sign the Required Documentation on the winner’s behalf and fulfill any other requirements imposed on the winner either by these Official Rules or any applicable law. Winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor may award the applicable prize to an alternate winner selected from among all remaining eligible entries. Only three (3) alternate selections will be made, after which the prize will remain unawarded.
Prizes will be fulfilled approximately 8-10 weeks after the conclusion of the Contest.
The winner of the Contest will receive a Prize Pack (“Prize”) that includes a Jenna Paulette T-Shirt featuring the T-Shirt Design, other Jenna Paulette merchandise items, and other miscellaneous items being donated by Sponsor. Total value of the prize will not exceed one-thousand dollars ($1,000).
In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Contest is impaired or interrupted for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, bug, worm, unauthorized human intervention or other technical problem, or in the event the Contest is unable to run as planned for any other reason, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, the Organizer may, in its sole discretion, either (a) suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then resume the Contest in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules or (b) terminate the Contest and, in the event of termination, award the prize at random or select from among the eligible, non-suspect T-Shirt Designs received up to the time of the impairment. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and/or civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Organizer reserves the right to seek damages (including attorney's fees) and any other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Contestant warrants that Submission is their own original creation and that Submission does not violate any third-party property rights, including, but not limited to, copyrights or other intellectual property rights.
Ownership and Grant of Rights:
Any of the T-Shirt Designs may be utilized by Jenna Paulette and/or the Organizer for marketing and advertising purposes and all miscellaneous merchandise. Each Contestant grants any and all intellectual property rights, including any and all rights title and interest in trademarks and copyrights, pertaining to Contestant’s T-Shirt Design and compilation to Organizer in perpetuity. Entry into Contest gives Jenna Paulette, Sponsor and Organizer full discretion as to the use, reproduction, display, adaptation, distribution and publishing of any copyrighted works embodied in Submission.
Contestant grants full right of publicity to Organizer and Sponsor with respect to Submission and their own name and likeness. Organizer and Sponsor have full ability to display any T-Shirt designs on website, at concerts, and wherever else deemed necessary. Organizer and Sponsor also reserve the right to publicize the name of the Contest winner online or anywhere else upon the end of the Period.
To request the name of the winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to JENNA PAULETTE T-SHIRT DESIGN WINNER, PO Box 70159, Nashville, Tennessee, 37207. Winner List requests will only be accepted after the date the winner is notified. Requests for the Winner List may only be submitted via U.S.P.S.
Except where prohibited, each Contestant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Tennessee. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, Contestants rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Organizer in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Tennessee, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules, which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Tennessee.
11) Other Conditions:
By submitting a T-Shirt Design, Contestant agrees to be bound by any and all rules, terms and conditions delineated in these Official Rules. T-Shirt Designs that could be considered offensive, inflammatory or insensitive will not be eligible to win and this judgment belongs solely to the judges of the Contest. Contestants agree to release and hold harmless the Organizer and Sponsor, and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, other companies associated with the Contest, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives, and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of breach of Contestant’s warranties in these Official Rules, participation in the Contest or receipt or use of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto), including, but not limited to: (a) any technical errors associated with the Contest, including lost, interrupted or unavailable Internet Service Provider (ISP), network, server, wireless service provider, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone, cellular tower or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; (b) unauthorized human intervention in the Contest; (c) mechanical, network, electronic, computer, human, printing or typographical errors; (d) lost, late, incomplete, garbled, illegible, undelivered, stolen, damaged, delayed, postage-due or misdirected mail, entries, (e) any other errors or problems in connection with the Contest, including, without limitation, errors that may occur in the administration of the Contest, the announcement of the winner, the cancellation or postponement of the event and/or the flyover, if applicable, or in any Contest-related materials; or (f) injury, death, losses or damages of any kind, to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrants participation in the Contest or acceptance, receipt or misuse of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto). Contestant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties liability will be limited to the total value of the Prize awarded, and in no event shall the entrant be entitled to receive attorney's fees. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
