Round Top, Texas - Part I
Round Top, Texas… I am in love with your small town charm, your miles and miles of antiques (and to me that means endless opportunities to turn something old into a new staple to ground a modern decorated room!). You were the perfect weekend getaway for me and my friends.
I found new inspiration and song ideas, a new purse (for $3!!!), an awesome costume piece that will most likely end up as part of a look for a music video or red carpet event, a few gifts, and a bunch of tea cups and saucers. I collect tea cups and saucers, but they have to speak to me or I can’t buy them… you’ll see what I mean…. and I drink my coffee out of one every morning. I don’t know why but they make me feel so cozy, loved and grounded.
Me, mesmerized by all of the stuffffff.
My Justin Roper Boots - an antiques weekend necessity! 😍
Looking at some cool, sleek stools for my acoustic shows. We didn't end up getting any at Round Top, so the search is still on!
Find a horse, pet a horse, ask if you can ride the horse, they say no, so you go find some Sangria.
Found the Sangria!
And it's good.
What to eat?! Jalapeno sausage with mango chutney, peppers and onions, cowboy caviar and potato salad... Praise!!!
Which cowhide should I buy for my office?
Leave your favorite in the comments!!!
Wish I could buy one of these orientals, but I'm gonna need a DEALLLL.
Aren't they beautiful?!
Alright y'all, that's it for this round of Round Top (get it?!). But there is lottttsssss moorreee! It's impossible to do it all, let alone in one day. Part II will be coming soon and I'll show you all of my finds from the weekend!
